RESEARCH

Prior to developing the brand identity, the RMCAD design team did extensive research and analysis of Bria’s Italian Fusion. The goal of this initial research process was to understand Bria’s mission and to develop market research that best aligned with their brand. First, the design team leader interviewed the owner and CEO to get a sense of the culture, mission, competitors, and history. In addition, the design team reviewed the current branding and digital marketing. After distilling this research, the design team came up with three traits that holistically identified Bria’s Italian Fusion:

community, variety, genuine.

Once the traits were identified, the design team collected imagery, presented fonts, and developed color palettes that best represented these traits. To organize the information, the design team created stylescapes that considered the design elements and principles. These stylescapes along with our market research established what brand archetypes aligned with the identity of Bria’s Italian Fusion and established a strong conceptual foundation for the company’s rebrand.
